Week 11

I finished some detailed thumbnails for part 2, ready to take onto the computer and enable me to finish my final designs for both parts of the project.

Week 10

I'm happy with my idea for a front cover, and started to think about how I could relate it to a DPS containing the introductory text I was supplied with.

Week 9

I further developed my front cover visuals, and got some great feedback for my ideas and style of sketching. I also continued working on part 1 of the project on InDesign.

Week 8

After receiving feedback in last weeks lesson and altering my design ideas, I came up with an improved layout that I feel works much better than my previous effort. Also, the class discussed part 2 of the brief, which involves coming up with a front cover and further DPS introducing the Zine, which will be named "Horizon". I produced some thumbnail ideas for a front cover, thinking of ways to interpret the title and content to fit the purpose.

Week 7

After scanning in my full size layout sketch into the Adobe Indesign software, I used it as a template to create a digital version of the piece. I got some useful feedback on how I could change the layout, including reducing the text size, and repositioning the photos to create a sweeping effect across the page.
